Samsung's new screen: a commitment to modernity and connectivity 

The display, developed by BMW's technical team, will be powered by the MINI 9 operating system, whose interface was designed to optimise touch control and will be powered by Android Open Source Project (AOSP) technology, opening up a whole world of possibilities. The device will feature 8 experience modes, which allow the user interface, sounds and colours of the dashboard and even the Head-Up display to be configured in different ways. 

Users can also activate the voice assistant functions by simply saying “Hey, MINI.” Voice commands can be used to modify various travel functions, such as weather, messages, navigation, route planning, and more. The navigation system also has an option to find the most optimized routes based on the number of chargers on the road. 

It is worth mentioning that its internet connection system will be through 5G networks, which will allow drivers to access traffic information in real time, with the best options regarding routes, traffic jams, etc. In addition, the system will receive updates via OTA.
