New technological aspects

But the most striking thing about the iCar will not be its exterior design: the most impressive thing will be found inside the car, where technology will be the main star. 

Specifically, according to what we know, the vehicle will have, among others,:

• An infotainment package
• A camera system that eliminates dead spots
• Automated air conditioning

On the other hand, the designers of the Apple car have also paid attention to the dizziness that passengers may experience, for example, when reading or checking their mobile phone while the car is moving. We still know practically nothing about the technical aspects . At the moment, the speed, autonomy levels and other important aspects of the car are unknown. 

However, what has been talked about is its revolutionary batteries , which will be made with a monocell design. This has the ability to increase individual cells and free up space within the same battery pack. 

Similarly, the possibility of implementing lithium iron phosphate batteries has been discussed , which would make them less prone to overheating. As a result, they will be safer than traditional lithium-ion batteries. In fact, many claim that, thanks to their revolutionary technology, Apple's batteries could be the most powerful on the market and would solve a major drawback of electric cars.

Possible negotiation with Hyundai

The latest we know is that Project Titan is being led by Kevin Lynch , one of the company's heavyweights, who previously led the development of the Apple Watch. Lynch replaces Bob Mansfield, who left his position and the development of the iCar in 2020.
