How does Ziggy work?

The idea is that this robot does its job digitally. Through an app or from the vehicle itself , you can connect to Ziggy while driving to the parking lot. Once the robot has received the request, it heads to a free space and reserves the spot for you until you arrive. 

Once you've arrived at the spot, Ziggy will pull over so you can park. It will then stand next to your car and wait for you to pay for the recharge. You can easily pay by holding your NFC-enabled smartphone close to it, then plug the charger into your vehicle.

One of the advantages of Ziggy is that while the car is charging, you can use the time for yourself, whether it's going shopping, watching a movie or just having a coffee. Once Ziggy finishes charging, it will automatically disconnect and can serve other vehicles. It is worth noting that the robot integrates two advertising screens, which makes it an even more profitable option for the shopping center or parking building. 

However, one thing that worries some drivers is that parking lots often become chaotic on weekends, so one question that needs to be answered is how these autonomous robots will be able to deal with the excess traffic and human behavior. 

For example, one thing that could happen is that the spot the robot wants to reserve is occupied by another driver while Ziggy is driving towards it. In addition, navigating through a place full of cars, pedestrians and narrow streets must not be easy either. Nevertheless, Ziggy remains an interesting proposition that promises easy, simple and safe use.
